TIMES STORE

Once the department store of Buxton, this store, which occupied the ground floor,  was ordered closed in the 1940's by Governor Sir Gordon Lethem for what he judged to be a violation of the law at that time. This store has not been reopened since, although the upper floor of the building continues to be a residence.
