Welcome to the Gallery of BARTON CREATIONS

This gallery contains mainly two series of landmark drawings that attempt to capture the spirit of two main places where the artist, LYNDON O. BARTON, has lived, and to heighten people's awareness of the roles these landmarks have played in the history of these places. The two series are:

LANDMARKS OF NEWARK, Delaware

LANDMARKS OF BUXTON, and SELECTED WORKS, Guyana

The gallery also contains a third series of drawings, namely,

SCENES FROM A STUDY HALL that attempt to capture the atmosphere in a typical 'study hall' classroom, based on the artist's personal observations as a part-time high school teacher, as well as a collection of OTHER WORKS in his repertoire.
