OLD COLLEGE
Built in 1834 and extensively renovated in 1917 and
1978, Old College Building was the first building of Newark College, the forerunner of
Delaware College. Since 1978, it has been occupied by the University Gallery, the
Department of Museum Studies, Art, History, Art Conservation, and the Winterthur Program
in Early American Culture. The building is on the National Register of Historic
Sites.
