AETNA FIRE STATION #9
Located on Academy Street and Delaware Avenue, this building was built in 1922 by The Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Company, an all volunteer organization. Opposite its present location was the site of the original fire house built in 1891. Today, the building is the center of Aetna Ambulance Rescue Service in Newark
