CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH, Newark, DE,‘06
Located on East Delaware Avenue, this church was the first Baptist church to be established in Newark. Its main sanctuary was built and dedicated in 1954, and in 1960 the building was expanded to include the education wing. Since its establishment, the church membership has grown from under 10 to more than 300.
